8 Hour Pre-license Basic Business Course
This is STEP NUMBER ONE for all applicants.
This is the class that must be completed before an applicant can apply for a Class A, B, or C contractor
license in Virginia.
The registration fee for the 8 Hour Pre-license  Course is $200.00 and includes the
Textbook, Business Basics, Contractor Pre-License Education, and all handouts.
You do not need to bring anything with you to the class.

A/ B Exam Prep Session  prepares an applicant to take the state business exam that must
be passed in order to obtain a Class A or Class B license in Virginia.
This is STEP NUMBER TWO  for Class A and B applicants.
The registration fee for the Class  A & B Exam Prep Service is $475.00.
Participants are given the two books from which all the exam questions are taken, highlighted and tabbed for easy
reference during the open-book exam. The exam prep session time is spent providing instruction on how to study
these resources, and how to use the resources during the exam. A significant amount of time is dedicated to
practicing math calculations that must be performed to answer some of the exam questions. The included AVAC
workbook provides at-home study drills and math problems to further help you prepare to pass the exam.

    is the second step for those seeking a Class A or B license. 98% pass rate
  • Exam Prep session for the Residential Building Contractor (RBC) specialty
    exam with highlighted and tabbed books included. Offered since 2008. 98% pass
    rate
  • Exam Prep session for the Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) specialty
    exam with highlighted and tabbed books included. 100 % pass rate
