AVAC Education and Exam Prep offers  the
Board for Contractor Approved
8 Hour Pre-license Basic Business Course
that must be completed before an applicant can apply
for a Class A, B, or C contractor license in Virginia.
This course also meets the requirement for Remedial Education

AVAC also offers an Exam Prep Service
that prepares an applicant to take the state exam that must be passed
in order to obtain a Class A or Class B license in Virginia.

AVAC also offers an
Exam Prep Session for the BLD Technical exam

AVAC offers the Pre-License Course and Exam Prep Service in
Virginia Beach, Hampton and Newport News

The AVAC schedule allows you to take the 8 hour class,
A/B Prep Session and BLD Prep Session all in one day.
This is possible because the books for the exams have already been highlighted and tabbed for you. You do not have to
spend a whole day highlighting and tabbing books. Instead the prep time is spent learning what material to study, how
to study it, and how to take the exam.  
99% of participants who have reported back  passed the exams on their first attempt.

The registration fee for the 8 Hour Pre-license  Course is $200.00
and includes the Textbook,
Business Basics, Contractor Pre-License Education, and all handouts.
You do not need to bring anything with you to the class.

The fee for the Class  A & B Exam Prep Service is $400.00.
You will be given the two books from which all the exam questions are taken, highlighted and
tabbed for easy reference during the
open-book exam. The AVAC workbook will provide
practice math questions and other drills to help you prepare
for the exam. You save approximately $80.00 over other providers.

The fee for the BLD Exam Prep is $600.00 and includes the three books you will need for the
BLD open book exam.  The three books you receive will be highlighted and tabbed for easy
reference in the exam. Compare to other providers who charge as much as $425.00 plus the cost
of the three books (approximately $228.00) and you must highlight and tab the books yourself.

98% of AVAC participants who have reported back  passed the exam at their first sitting.


Take the class and exam prep in one day, study for one/two day(s), and then take the exam in Richmond or Virginia Beach.
